The Comox Valley MRI is now open at 1211
Ryan Road in Courtenay B.C., providing Magnetic
Resonance Imaging (MRI) services to patients from North
Central Vancouver
Island and the Sunshine Coast. It is the
first privately run MRI clinic on the Island and offers physicians
and their patients a quick
local alternative to long trips to Nanaimo, Victoria, or Vancouver.
Minimal waiting times and a caring professional
staff are just two of the many benefits we provide.
At the present time the MRI Clinic services patients referred from
WCB, ICBC, Blue Cross,
and other private insurers, who previously had to travel to the South
Island or Vancouver. Comox Valley MRI can also take referrals
from local doctors with patients who prefer not to wait and
are prepared to pay for their own scans. The machine is one
of only six private MRI scanners operating in BC and allows
local residents the advantage of having one right here in the Comox
Valley.
